The use of pressure sewers or all terrain sewers is varied and comes in many sizes. Projects for septic abatement typically include pipeline installation in or near public ways allowing for private homeowners to then contract for the final pump installation and connection to the municipal system.
The private installers generally offer a wide range of services involving site excavation. They may dig a house foundation today, install a water service line tomorrow and provide a landscaping project or other service. They are the “Jack of all Trades” in site work.
Local contractors find the ‘Plug and Play” of the E/One® and Bal-Last™ combination to be of great benefit. When the pump unit arrives, fully assembled, and the ballast ring simply locks into place, special assembly skills are no longer a hurdle. The installation can proceed quickly and allow the contractor to finish one or a number of connections and be able to move on to another project.
Many of our distributors are keenly aware of the value-added benefits of having all the pieces and parts in stock and ready for a complete installation. The pump basin and alarm panel, along with pipe, fittings, and of course; the Bal-Last is a great time saver.
This private installer has all the pieces and parts to complete this installation. Pictured here is the complete pump basin and pump assembly, alarm panel, pump discharge whip and fittings, pump Bal-Last and the HDPE lateral pipe. The installer does not have to waste time shopping from one supplier to another to get the right materials.
These projects are typically a one or two person operation. Time lost running for a missing item can be very costly. A fully prepared installer can proceed with the work in a timely manner.
Contractors can perform this work with less equipment. Gone are the days of on-site mixing of concrete and building forms for the ballast ring.
Ask your local distributor about these important options and if they are provided with your next pump purchase.
